Comet Golfers battled Saturday at Round Barn and came away with a 3rd place finish. Northwestern won the invite with a score of 336 and Pioneer took 2nd with a 397. The Comets fought tooth and nail for a 402. Max Sommers fired an 86 which was good for an overall 4th place finish against some very good competition. Josh Whaley carded a 76 for Northwestern to take 1st place in the individual scores. Coach Rentschler commented after the meet, “We will get back to the basics this week at practice and get back on track scoring.”
