The Lady Comets defeated the Lady Warriors in tight match that went the full 5 set. The Lady Comets had a slow start in the beginning and lost the first set to the Lady Warriors. The Comets then rallied back and easily won the second. The Lady Comets kept the momentum going and won the third set easily again. When the 4th set came along, the Lady Warriors were able to overtake the Lady Comets and win the set. The 5th set then started and the Lady Comets got out to an early lead and were able to hold on and win the match. The Comets were led by Colvin and Zartman with serves, Warner and Salisbury at the net, Douglass and Zartman with assists, and Coffing with back row coverage. The Lady Comets are now 2 and 2 in the conference and will be playing in the Triton Tournament this Saturday. The JV Lady Comets fell to the JV Lady Warriors in 2 sets.
